Fake prices for office electronics

First of all I have to say that the product is qualitatively a bit better than most others. My problem is the prices and for some reason they keep going up. At first I wanted a block of flats, but I called Grandma for advice. They sold me the Linx extensions along with the business unit and essentially said it was the same monthly fee for the extensions added. That's not true, and besides, faxes don't go over their wireless connection. So in the end I pay the same as with my old V-bill, but…

100% used for our company

We have been using Ooma Office for about 18 months and have had great success. We use Lynx modules for all extensions and most of the time it's a virtual admin unless we have someone on reception to answer the phone. You can easily switch between calls at office.ooma.com. We use separate cordless DECT 6.0 phones for each extension. Transfer/conference is easy, as is a 3 digit call between handsets. If you take the time to study the product, you will find that the cost savings of this product…

Good for small businesses.

Excellent system. Our business is very small so not sure if it's worth the monthly fee but we like the quality of the receptionist who picks up the phone when you call. It is designed so that you can buy multiple accounts/extensions. So if you only have one main phone, it's probably a waste of money. We expect to buy more extensions in the future, so the monthly management fee is justified. The online options are nice, they don't give you full control over the device. There were a few things I…

Frustrated existing customer.

The hardware itself works fine, but Ooma's services are far from acceptable for business applications. I have had Ooma at home for many years, so I know her well. It wasn't difficult for me to go with them for my startup. I assumed the complaints were coming from people who didn't understand VoIP technology or how it worked or something. NOT CORRECT! While I'm happy with home service, I route almost every transferred call through business services. That makes it a complete waste of my money. I…

Ooma - The Phone Company You Never Wanted!

Ooma is a waste of time and money. Their services are of poor quality, terribly unreliable, and a customer service nightmare. After months of being billed for unused services, and even after requesting a fee adjustment, I have not received any help and/or changes to my bill. I then asked for my account to be closed (because of course they won't let you cancel online because their service is so terrible). I was told that the agent I called was unable to process my request. I was told the manager

ok system Prepare to be disappointed when you cancel the service.

I used Ooma Office as my home office bridge when I moved my office. I've been using it for about 6 months and I liked some of the features but the call quality was questionable. It was difficult to understand the conversation at times, but I don't know how much it had to do with my analog cordless phone and the quality of the connection at the other end. When another call came in while I was on the phone, a loud beep along with distorted audio interrupted the ongoing conversation. A lot has…

Great service but not worth the price of the gear.

I was only at Ooma's for about 6 weeks. The 24/7 tech support was great and the online account manager is simple which makes it very user-friendly for everyone. However, I simply lacked control and management. I am very tech savvy and would like to be able to control and customize the device. What, for the price, do you think it would be possible. Voice service is decent, but the hardware doesn't make up for it with extra features. Ooma doesn't offer toll free numbers or the ability to use an…

A great and simple small business phone solution at a bargain price.

OOMA OFFICE has been working for about a week now. Almost perfect and works as described. Setup was easy. Great value for money. I called OOMA with a question and the service engineer was ok but not very impressed. The next day I called again with another question and they were great! Porting our old #over was easy and only took a few days. I was a little confused before buying which phones to use. I chose FANSTEL ST-118B (which you will see in other OOMA packages). This is an analog phone, so…
