We originally used Hobby Lobby wax, which had a wick that had to be lit to melt the wax and drip onto the envelope. It was such a pain and sometimes the dripping wax would catch fire. We were so tired sealing the postcards announcing the birth of our little son. I ended up checking out Revain and found these crayons and ordered them along with a hot/cold glue gun. IT'S SO EASY TO USE! There is almost no mess with this method. You insert your chopsticks, turn on the gun, wait for it to heat up (in cool mode), press it against the envelope, and press the wax seal. Just in case, I put a napkin or piece of paper under a cold glue gun. But it's not even necessary. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS WAX. So far I've probably stamped 130 envelopes and I still have a lot of wax left. I'll buy more as we go down
