This is a satisfactory everyday tablecloth. According to the description, the fabric is a blend of cotton and linen. The color is natural and the weave is a bit coarse, making it more suitable for casual than formal table settings. I didn't see any flaws in the fabric or cord. The tablecloth fit my 42" x 74" table but without the extra protrusions. The product comes without fabric care instructions. The product description on the website says "hand wash". I took a chance and machine washed on a gentle cycle in cold water and then tumble dried on low. The tablecloth has not shrunk but needs to be ironed. This tablecloth looks good and serves its purpose, but needs more maintenance than an everyday tablecloth.
