I only installed it yesterday, so I can't say anything about the durability of the protective film. It stuck easily, and while there are areas in the corners where it doesn't look fully glued, it hasn't been affected by adding and removing cases, or putting it in or removing it from my bag. Two more spares are included, so if something happens to this protector, it can be easily replaced. There was an O-ring in the "lightning hole". Not sure what purpose this/-ed serves, but many people have complained of poor results when using Flash. I removed the o-ring with fine tweezers as it was blocking part of the flash LED and then took some flash test photos. I haven't had any negative results, so it's possible the o-ring is causing problems for others. One issue I noticed before putting the phone case on is that the edges of the protection are quite sharp. Not dangerously sharp, but sharp enough that it can "shave off" a layer of skin or a nail (like mine did) if you're not careful. through and disturb the picture. When light spills over the edge of a lens protector, it causes ghosting or something like fog. Because it's a single piece rather than three separate protective lenses, the surface area is larger and more likely to be reflected in photos. By deleting them, you degrade their quality.
