I bought this car seat for my 8lb Pomeranian. I got this stylish seat because I thought it would best fit the console of my new car (Acura ILX). It goes well with the console and seems to tie to it pretty securely. However, the design of this seat is a bit odd for me. It's VERY NARROW and even tapers backwards so my dog sits all the way forward (as in a few inches of writing when she's probably over 8 inches tall!). It also has a part that snaps in the front that my dog sometimes puts his head down (on a long trip) and it's great. But more often she stands and will stand on this part and the buttons open and I have to be careful not to let my dog fall forward and out. I bought the Snoozer brand that had previously fitted my previous car and was much happier.
