They work great. I have 2 units installed in each of my machines. Front and rear seat, any devices that support fast charging will correctly recognize the charger and charge accordingly. Make sure and check the depth behind the board before you cut it, adding 1/2 inch to accommodate the wires and their connections can save you. Headache. The contacts on the back "bend" only once, change your mind and they will most likely break if you try to push them back. The lock nut is made of plastic and won't last long on its own. I recommend that you use plumber's teflon tape to give the lock nut a little more bite. When choosing an installation location, consider the LED backlight. It's bright and will draw your attention to it. I suggest placing it where you can find the charger at all times, and not so much that you have to avoid lights and wires. A V
