Hardly more than opening a factory. It will take amazing work. Once it's in, it works fine.

As the name suggests, they are slightly wider than the factory openings on the 1st generation Toyota Sequoia. I used basic tools to enlarge the factory hole. Once you've tightened the threads, they're very tight. Overall - pretty easy to install; The hardest part (for me) was removing the factory cigarette lighter. The on/off switch is a great feature as the Sequoia has 3 or 4 outlets that don't switch. So it really breathes new life into these outlets. But my concern is how well this switch…

INSTALLATION THOUGHTS.

They work great. I have 2 units installed in each of my machines. Front and rear seat, any devices that support fast charging will correctly recognize the charger and charge accordingly. Make sure and check the depth behind the board before you cut it, adding 1/2 inch to accommodate the wires and their connections can save you. Headache. A great product in concept but the quality control is lacking. Be prepared to buy a few before you get one that works reliably. I installed three on my bike before getting one that didn't disappoint. Problems with the first device started after a few weeks. Only one of the USB ports was working, and the other port was not providing any power at all. The second block worked for about two months before it started to fail. Turned itself off regularly. I was able to turn it back on, but it only…
