The cat needed to be shown a bit as it was never used. The product states indoor/outdoor use which I think is possible with any cat door but for the airflow around the door I wouldn't recommend it for outdoor use, some work is needed in that area. Another thing is the lack of warranty in the warranty, the claim seems to imply that the door may break prematurely or that the product is just WEAK. For 5 stars I would have to (1) have a real exterior product design that restricts airflow more and (2) strengthen the door in a way that the warranty doesn't scream weakness anymore. Do it like a 4-position switch for open and lock functions. A magnet for a door closer is also good to keep the wind from blowing. If my cat door breaks, all I have is a big hole! Do I have a threatening headache? Just take a look.
