Simple solution to clearing my check engine light.
My mother's 2001 Toyota Camry got error code p1410 and sometimes p1411 on my OBD2 reader. He determined that the EGR position sensor was the likely culprit. After replacing and cleaning the code, the error did not return. The element is easy to replace, just be careful not to lose the small O-ring that comes with the kit. Easy to find on this vehicle. It is located at the top center rear of the engine. 3 hex screws hold it in place. I also replaced the vacuum hose with a 1/4" flexible fuel line. The original was cracked and brittle.
