Instructions were confusing. Do not attempt to remove anything from the controller. Replace the air hose connector (Home Depot carries these) and add a 14 x 1.25mm female (collar) adapter to a 1/4" male thread on the other end. I made my adapter out of brass using a 14mm spark plug socket and a 1/4" die. An air hose, compressor shop should stock them. A bunch of problems? Depends on how handy a person can be. This tester is offered at a great price, once the replaced parts are in place, it works as expected.
