The red arrow solves everything

Why not every thermometer has a display with which you can easily set the target temperature? So you don't have to squint for long when the oven or grill door is open. UPDATE: There is a serious design flaw. When you turn the handle, for example while cleaning or just when handling, the indicator needle moves with the temperature scale. This makes the thermometer inaccurate, perhaps to a large extent. To reset it, place the stem in boiling water and turn the stem/dial to read 212F. There is no lock nut to keep it in the correct position. For this reason, other, safer dial thermometers have a lock nut.

  • Insert the pointed end into the thickest part of the meat without touching the bone, slide the red indicator to the desired temperature, cook the recipe

  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is in Order
