Really nice M.2 case and it works well. Basically plug and play. A great way to store games or whatever and perfect for laptops or game consoles with limited storage. The RGB effect is a spinning rainbow effect and looks nice, but there's a switch to turn it off if you don't need it. The case is metal, and the compartment that houses the hard drive and electronics is made of translucent plastic that glows when the LEDs are on. There is a small fan and heatsink to protect your M.2 drive from overheating. Overall it's a nice design and very clean inside and out. A small ball bearing holds the tray to the chassis and you can push down with the handle to remove the tray, but otherwise it stays in place and no other tools are required to access the drive. USB cable included. has an adapter on one end if you have a standard USB 3 port. Transfer rates are fast and I've measured transfer rates similar to my motherboard's M.2 connector. I don't have a very fast drive so there's probably a limit, but I'm happy with the transfer speed and it's fast enough to use for gaming without any noticeable loading time lag, even for larger and more complex games. This case can also be connected to most modern gaming consoles to use as a fast external hard drive. I haven't had any issues with overheating or file transfers, and the electronics are generally of good quality. A great way to add some storage and you can just plug and leave it connected to your XBOX or PS and add as many games as you can fit on the drive. No problem with this little case, I'm very happy with it.
