My bed is too high for me. Either I have to climb or I need a stool to help me. I've used a plastic stool for a while, but it's a bit flimsy and bends at times. Needing something sturdier, I recently bought this metal step stool to replace the plastic step stool. She works great. When it arrived it was already assembled, I just had to unfold the legs and it was ready to use. The colors are industrial but in keeping with the surroundings so they don't stand out. The surface is made of a material that is pleasant to the touch and prevents slipping. In terms of weight, it fared well at over 200 pounds. I definitely recommend this stool.
