The instructions are not in English. There is a list of parts labeled according to their location on the PCB. The translated spool instructions are very confusing. It also had a slot marked J3 and the instructions (translated into English) said it was for a fan, but no fan was included. My 10 year old son and I did everything with the instructions provided. However, he did not intervene. I'll try some of the suggestions in the product comments and see how it goes. I have my own thicker magnet wire so we could try making our own coil and see if we have better luck with that as well. It would get 1 star but it's a cheap little kit and my son still enjoys learning to solder.
