Review on Unleash Brightness and Efficiency With Maxxima Equivalent Dimmable Lumens Energy by Gabriel Tomato

We recently installed a new Lutron CL Diva 150 dimmer that controls 6 BR30 downlights. The first bulbs we got were SUNCO BR30 LED 11W (65W equivalent), 3000K warm white, DIMMABLE, indoor and outdoor, and they buzzed quite a bit, especially at around 40-70% power. They even hummed to the fullest. So I reluctantly bought this brand to try. Boy - I sure am glad I did. I replaced the Sunco bulbs with these Maxxima LED BR30 75 Equivalent Dimmables and now everything is very quiet. If you get very close to a lightbulb you might hear a very faint buzz, but once you're just a foot or so away the noise from these lights is lower than any typical home environment. You don't make a buzz when you change the dimming level on the Lutron switch. Now you must understand that finding an LED bulb that is almost silent for a given dimmer is a challenge. In terms of light quality, I would rate it a 4 out of 5 in reality. They measure very close to 3000K, so that's good. I don't like 2700K as it makes the interior too yellowish-orange for my liking so being darn close to 3000K is great as I prefer 3000-3200K for interior lighting. 3000K is the perfect balance of slightly purer white yet slightly warm light for a cozy interior. I can only recommend that. These bulbs don't bring the colors to life as brightly as some of the other LED bulbs I've bought; but these bulbs are rated at 80 CRI and I would say that is accurate. (Some of the other LED bulbs I own are 90 or 95 and you can tell the difference by comparing them.) Overall I think this is a very good buy. At the time of writing this review, I only had a week and a half. If anything changes I'll definitely mention it as I have a feeling others will try to find a 'quiet' BR30 LED that will work with a specific dimmer.
