I have a teenage son who is very rough with his headphones. I speak so roughly that I sometimes wonder if he's trying to lasso dogs or something. I'll admit that I mostly bought cheap $5 pairs at Walmart or cheap multipacks here at Revain knowing they would be destroyed within a few weeks. From time to time I got tired of buying multiple packs, so I did a little research to find the most durable wired headphones with mic. I read an article in tech magazines about the rugged headphones they recommended and spent a lot more than usual on them only to have them wrecked in the same amount of time as the cheap ones. After going through this vicious cycle again, I found another article that recommended all types of headphones at all different price points, and this headphone was one of their budget $19.99 picks. At the moment we've only had 4 days to a month of use and they're still working. In my book it's phenomenal. I'll try to remember to add an update in about a month if they're still hanging there.
