overall great product and fair priced from performance/gaming laptops - unlike many other stands that have " using "breathing" slits but end up not being positioned properly and blocking proper ventilation - this design is MUCH BETTER - as it doesn't need them - The triangular "pizza slice" design is just narrow enough that anyone 16-17 -inch laptop is wide enough not to be blocked by the surface. BIG IDEA - saves aluminum (makes the product cheaper for the customer) and ventilates well 2) SMALL flaw on the back - the bottom hook (the crease that prevents the laptop/device from "slipping off" when tilted) is curved and thus does not allow closing/opening of laptops placed on the stand. To open, you need to remove or close the laptop and then put it back on the stand. This isn't a big problem - just a small one considering someone designed it and tested this hypothetically - they would have had this problem on first use if tested. Many more.
