First of all, I am a hobby photographer with many years of experience. I read so many reviews before purchasing this lens. I do not regret it. I love the shape, size and ease of use. It takes a few minutes (probably a day) to get used to focusing as I'm used to Leica and Voigtlander lenses that come with a focusing tab. I jumped the abyss and bought this lens and I love the result. At f1.1 it's sharp in the center and soft on the edges, just what I need for portrait photos (great depth of field - see photo). When I'm taking a street photo, I choose f8 and get sharp. Maybe later I'll upload samples of f8 (but anyone reading this review is still interested in f1.1. The two cat samples are from f1.1 on a Leica M9 and have not been enhanced or edited. So it will hopefully help. And happy shooting with this lens.
