Love this projector! Although I have a 65 inch OLED TV, it doesn't have 3D and was very expensive. I have this OLED TV in my living room and watch most TV shows and movies on it. However, I have a huge collection of DVDs in my basement. devoted almost entirely to Japanese anime. I've been collecting since the late 1990's, and I have so many of these that I haven't even seen half (although I've considered some as favorites several times). I have a 48 inch rear projection TV down there and have used it but now it's having issues with some colors. It's perfect, I can mount it between two lounge chairs that I have on a stand below and project it on the wall. I bought a large piece of 48" x 64" white paper at an office supply store and taped it to a slightly larger piece of cardboard I cut from a mattress box. So that the letters on the cardboard didn't show through, I painted it with silver spray paint and covered it with white paper. It actually works pretty well and I have an instant 80 inch TV. The connections are just perfect for what I need, there are a pair of HDMI sockets for a DVD player and a streaming source like ROKU or Fire TV. The speaker is ok, but nothing. special, but you can feed the audio from a DVD player separately to amplified speakers. It has something none of my other units have, an S-Video connection, which my 1995 camcorder uses, and that allows me to record my videos on the play big screen In addition, it also has VGA, like many of these projectors, it is often used for conference rooms. Nowadays, everyone comes into the conference room with a laptop, and either someone connects locally or someone connects to the network for displaying the screen . has an ethernet port for this connection. Because DLP is very bright (much better than a few years ago, I might add) it can easily be used in fully lit rooms. Today they can use flat screens, LED projections or LCDs. Projection or DLP as projection right. It uses DLP and while it doesn't last as long as LEDs, it can last up to 15,000 hours. For comparison: 2080 hours is a working year of 8 hours a day, five days a week. So if you put in those 40 hours a week, you can live a little over seven years, so it's not that bad. While LED is more efficient and you could probably get better resolution for the money, it's much dimmer and difficult to use in a lit room. manual, including zoom and focus. Perhaps because they are less common than HDMI, a VGA cable is included. It has a height adjustment from below if you don't mount it on the ceiling. Also, thanks to its compact size, you can easily take it with you to sales meetings and connect your presentation to your laptop. The projection is adjustable so you can connect it to a giant screen if the room is big enough for a training session or sales presentation. Recommended for home and business.
