Review on Mounting Screws Rivets Silicone Computer by Byron Forman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They didn't break when using pliers! quality tires!

WOW! These things are the real deal! I've read reviews of other rubber cased fan mounts and the only complaint was that they tear easily when prying open with pliers to fit through the fan holes. I haven't ripped any of mine with that particular brand yet (knock on wood). It's still tricky to thread these fan mounts through the fan screw holes (you'll definitely need pliers and be careful not to damage the fan blades). !), but once you've pierced them, the brackets slide easily through the screw holes in the computer case (you can just pry them out with your fingers). Other reviews recommend using petroleum jelly to lubricate and make these fasteners easier to pass through the holes. The quality of the rubber is so durable that I was able to just tighten them with pliers without oiling them. I don't know if the strength of rubber degrades over time (from repeated pulling with pliers, especially if you're constantly rearranging or replacing your case fans. I don't swap or move my case fans, so I'm not worried.) I am initially skeptical. Was referring to buying this particular rubber fan mount because of the price you pay for 100pcs (i.e. it's a good deal! At least at the time I bought it. Seller please take note!) I have Used 24 fan mounts in two PC builds so far, so they'll definitely last me a while (probably enough for the next three or four future builds!). Get them, you won't regret it!
