Review on Techwood Smokeless Non Stick Extractor Technology by Jonathan Yang

COOKING WELL AT MAXIMUM TEMP. BUT POOR INSTRUCTIONS.

First the negatives. The instruction manual is a joke. Fine print on diagrams is difficult to read. The English translation is very poor with confusing instructions. There is a glass lid in the kit but it is NOT mentioned in the manual so you will need to figure out how to properly attach the handle to it. And there are no instructions on whether to start or boil off. It mentions a warranty card which is not included and NO mention of your warranty. There is no 800 number or other contact for the company provided for questions or warranty issues. Positive (sort of). It gets the job done on a smokeless grill (I find it best to leave the fan running during heating and cooling and while cooking). At the moment we have cooked 4 types of meat on it (lamb chops, burgers, steaks, hot dogs with skin). I have never seen this grill used at anything other than the highest heat. Also, once it reaches its maximum temperature, we leave it on high heat for at least 10 minutes so that the grill surface is as hot as possible before grilling. The steaks we cooked were 1/2-3/4 inch thick and very tasty. I don't think you can get a thicker steak on this grill. This is a hot grill surface for cooking, but it's not the fastest so there's no need to rush. It definitely could have been hotter. While writing this review, I just found a support email address that I haven't verified yet. I'm downgrading my rating because they didn't give me a copy of the warranty as requested.
