Not my first laptop from HP, before that for a long time there was a g6-1353er that lived for 9 years (! ) And only recently the battery started to fail, and there were also problems with a discrete video card, I also use fresher models with 14 "and 17 screens ", all require minimal maintenance (sometimes clean from dust, and do not put them in workingcomndition on upholstered furniture with fabric upholstery / bed, otherwise they dust and thread fibers from it, as a result they clog in just a week and thecomoler starts to workcomnstantly) . As always, acommfortable keyboard (no Fn on in place of the left Ctrl and no on / off on in the upper rightcomrner, where Del or PgDn is usually located), a good touchpad, a good screen with richcomlors. It works fast (we are talking about a specific version with 1154G + 8GB + 512 SSD), thecomoler is moderately noisy. Installing Windows 10 did not cause any problems, I did everything according to the instructions from the HP technical support website (): I created a bootable flash drive using Microsoft MediaCreationTool, unpacked it onto the same flash drive driver for Intel Rapid Storage, the installation did not start automatically at startup, so I had to press F9 and select the installation from the EFI file, specifying the path to the EFI folder on the flash drive. Further, according to the same instructions from the HP website, I installed Windows. Installing the drivers is a little strange, because. yourun the setup file, thecomnsole window opens and closes quickly and nothing happens, but then suddenly there is a sound or the touchpad starts working, but this is not a big problem, because. in the end it all worked out anyway.
