. This splint seems to be helping my de Quervain tenosynovitis. However, I've been wearing them for a full week now (only take them off to shower and wash my hands) and take anti-inflammatory medication. Both the splint and the medication were STRONGLY recommended by my family doctor. The product is well made and easily adjustable for comfort. Of course, I'd rather not have it at all, but for the level of relief I'm enjoying, it's worth it. let me add. The splint didn't seem to help until yesterday. Conclusion: It took me five (5) days to feel relief without wearing a splint. Hope that helps.
