My wife originally bought it as a wedding gift but decided to gift something else. Her and my daughter have been using them for over a month now. One is a teacher, the other a student. They tried different fruits as well as mint leaves and cucumbers. It's nice to have variety and I think they like to personalize flavors too. However, lemons and limes are the most commonly used. Both top up their bottle at least once a day without adding any extra fruit. My wife rinses her bottle in the dishwasher every day, while my daughter usually just rinses her bottle and lets it air dry a few times before putting it in the dishwasher. The attachment, brewing insert and lid are on the top shelf of the dishwasher and the bottle is on the floor because it is too high. None of them had any leakage issues. Based on how much they enjoy infused water, I've decided to purchase another set. General recommendation: YES, I would recommend this item to my friends. It was bought on a lightning sale.
