I bought this jacket for a trip to North Carolina next month for the mountains for cold (but not too cold) nights and it's perfect for that. Keeps me at a comfortable temperature but not too hot. This is definitely an oversized jacket. I usually wear a large size on top but based on other reviews I scaled it down to medium and I'm glad I did because it fits perfectly (still has that "oversized" feel but you don't drown in this). If you're my height and worried the sleeves will be too short when you downsize, don't! The sleeve length is perfect. If in doubt about buying this jacket, just do it. You will like it as much as I do!
