I looked at the size chart and reviews with pictures showing dog sizes and sweater fit. I have a dachshund, I ordered a big one. I usually take medium ones for my buddy and they fit perfectly. This sweater is much smaller than I expected and doesn't fit. The hood is so tiny and the neck is definitely not 17 inches long. The package was torn open and then resealed when I received it. This is not the type of packaging I would return. The price isn't bad for her, but now I have a puppy sweater that I can't change. Ah, the risks of buying online knowing that the chances of getting what you really want are slim even if you go by the size chart. it's sweet but very, very subtle.
