What's good: looks good and is strong enough. The cats took to it straight away and I know all cats are different but both of my cats are quite picky and have enjoyed using it since day one. I got this as a "dog proof" solution and it is. A small ramp and a passage through the door to the stretcher make the "treats" out of reach for a large dog. I was concerned that a small dog (chihuahua) would access it the same way cats do, but he doesn't seem to want that. Then everything is fine in these points. Bad: actually only one. It's quite "narrow", so a full-size cat box will fit lengthwise, but will be too wide. Only a few centimeters, but enough so that the door to the tray does not close. The box comes with a kitten sized tray and a tiny spoon and I tried using that tray but in the evening the smell of cat pee became noticeable... very noticeable. None of my cats are particularly large, but if you (like me) have a corner pan, it will end up on the outside of the litter box (and seep underneath), causing odor. You will probably have the same problem with the rim. Assembly: not very difficult. Like most modern things, assembly instructions are presented in pictures. My husband and I are quite the jerks when it comes to this, but once we got to work it only took about half an hour to fully assemble it. Everything is well labeled and all bits are well packed separately. The necessary tools (Phillips screwdriver and Allen key) are included in the scope of delivery. Everything had an extra element, which is good. I "fixed" the issue by applying tape to close the door so I could use a full size box, but that ruins the aesthetic a bit. Despite the fact that she looks good and strong. and well made, as it doesn't fit in a normal sized cat box it's a 'don't buy' for me.
