This water bag is quite durable and performs exactly as it should. Most people get this for the Sawyer water filter, I personally found a much better upgrade for the Sawyer but this left the next best thing. Definitely a huge upgrade over the bags that come with Sawyer filters. The lid that is attached is very handy, there is absolutely no smell or taste, it's a good clean material and when full it's firm and I honestly don't worry about spills. I recently ran 130 miles with a friend and let him use it because we had to do some long water transfers, I did a clean water gravity feed for my friend and we stuffed this full bag of water into his backpack. (I mean we really squeezed it in) it didn't pop. It hasn't expired. He had no problems at all. However, due to the design, it is difficult to inflate from the stream unless you can position the bag low/vertical enough to fill it. It rolls up nicely when empty and the elastic cord keeps it neatly folded. No complaints about always new 2 liter water bags
