Review on ASUS Designo MX27UC Type C Monitor - Adaptive 50Hz, Flicker-Free, Blue Light, Frameless, HD, 4K Display by Brent Johnson

I really wanted to keep this monitor. The picture quality is wonderful. Unfortunately I have this flickering that doesn't seem to go away. Tried on different monitors with different graphics cards. Tried with different drivers and different resolutions. Also, this monitor does not include a standard VESA mount. I bought a mounting adapter that others often buy with this monitor and it's not really compatible. I had to go to a hardware store and buy a separate screw long enough for the adapter. Even then, the monitor wasn't fully protected and wobbled when I moved it back and forth on the VESA mount. If I only had flickering issues I would buy a replacement. However, due to the flickering and lack of VESA mount compatibility, I don't want to get a direct replacement. At this price point, the snazzy stand simply keeps costs down. I've attached pictures to show you what setup I intended to use. I will be returning this monitor and getting a different brand.
