Review on ASUS VA32UQ Monitor FreeSync DisplayPort HDR10 31.5", 3840X2160P, Built-In Speakers, Blue Light Filter, Ultrawide Screen, HDMI, HD by Justin Sharp

Revainrating 2 out of 5

An acceptable picture of a terrible interface.

I've had the monitor for over a year now and haven't had any dead pixel issues. There are slight blemishes in the corners of a completely black screen, but these are not noticeable in most dark images. The picture is a step ahead of my old Samsung FHD but not as good as most 4k monitors and TVs I've seen. My biggest problem is the interface. Everything is controlled by a toggle switch in the lower right corner. Six clicks to switch input. eight clicks to adjust the volume. There aren't many 32-inch 4k monitors out there and this one is cheaper than most. If you only use one input and external speakers, this monitor is worth considering. I wish I had spent a little more and bought an LG.

Pros
  • 31.5" 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) 4ms response time (GTG) 178° wide viewing angle with ultra-narrow bezel
Cons
  • Working speed
