Review on ZIPWALL ZipDoor ZDS Black Dust Barrier Zipper Door Kit - 1 Pack by Hugh Starr

After reading some bad reviews about how quickly it deteriorated, I made sure to install it carefully and had no problems. It's been on for weeks now and there is no sign that the tape will come loose or that the tape will lose its adhesive even if the dog pulls to squeeze under it. I had enough double sided tape to do a full pass around the hole and a few more strips to make a second pass. I applied the tape as close to the hole as possible, not where the edge of the plastic should be. After attaching it to the wall I went back and pressed the whole thing really hard to make sure it stuck well and then gave it a few minutes before attaching the plastic. Using an extra set of hands, I carefully and slowly lifted the plastic, making sure I was holding it relatively firmly and straight. Then I just glued masking tape to press the edge of the plastic. I have a commercial kit that I think is a bit thicker and might come with some extra double sided tape, but I'm not sure. But it's definitely a quality product if you take your time and do it right.
