Depends on what you use it for.

Many reviews complain about sticking tape when used as a temporary dust cover. My usage is different, when we moved into our new home I started my business in a garage and needed a dustproof wall to protect cars and other items but didn't want to build a solid stud wall. I installed 1x2 inch boards on the ceiling and hung 3 mil plastic sheeting, then framed a ZipWall sized area for the door, also in 1x2, and instead of just relying on double sided tape I used paint stirrers glued together. on…

Very durable Best in Paints, Wall Care & Supplies Category

I used this to enclose part of my house as a quarantine measure, not for construction, but was impressed nonetheless. The plastic is strong, the locks are reliable. I used the included double sided tape around the edge of the door panel. It's very strong and I'm afraid I'll make a mess if I remove it. But the trim can still be painted, so I'm not too worried. I wouldn't trust duct tape to last long on a wall. It's very strong. If I use this to build again I'll probably pick it up in a doorway…

Install with care, no problem

After reading some bad reviews about how quickly it deteriorated, I made sure to install it carefully and had no problems. It's been on for weeks now and there is no sign that the tape will come loose or that the tape will lose its adhesive even if the dog pulls to squeeze under it. I had enough double sided tape to do a full pass around the hole and a few more strips to make a second pass. I applied the tape as close to the hole as possible, not where the edge of the plastic should be. After…

Lightning doesn't last long

At first I thought this door would be a great solution for my pottery workshop. As we fire up our oven, an unpleasant odor penetrates my sales room. I am ordering an industrial door with a zipper. First, there were no instructions explaining exactly how to install the door. But it didn't look too difficult, so I kept going. After installing double sided tape I attached a plastic door. The tape was so flimsy that the plastic came loose the first time the door was opened. So I solved this problem

Works very well - reusable

We did demo work (cutting and replacing drywall) in our garage and then covered the garage floor with epoxy. To do this, the previous epoxy resin had to be sanded off the garage floor with sanders. Unfortunately, our garage door opens directly into our family room, so we needed something to keep dust out of the house. Zip door worked great. My husband and I hung it with 2" tape (brand 3M with edge lock). We doubled the tape on all sides and added vertical faucet "straps" to the top of the door.
