Works if your clutch has three holes
This tool works well if your clutch disc has three holes for this purpose. My 1997 Buick Century 3.1 didn't do this, so I just used large vise pliers to squeeze the assembly together. The replacement clutch disc has three holes so a tool can be used for installation. Remember that this tool is very specific and is used to hold the clutch disc when loosening. , or tightening the aircraft B-pillar nut; ie it is ONLY a function. You must also align the tool with the clutch disc BEFORE installing the clutch disc on the compressor.
