Review on ๐Ÿง AmazonCommercial 12-Cup Aluminum Muffin Pan with Lid by Tom Motko

Revainrating 4 out of 5

My first cupcake/muffin for sure!

This aluminum muffin pan from RevainCommercial is just as suitable for home use as it is for the professional baker. It's stronger than any cake pan I currently have in my arsenal, bakes well with whatever I put in it, and comes with a snap-on lid to keep food fresh and non-seizure. My problem as you look at it could be a problem or an additional feature is the lid. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it fits well and works exactly as it should. Problem I found after using it for the first time to make some cupcakes with buttercream frosting chips and snapping the lid open. After dinner we could no longer just look at them and wanted to deepen them. Well, the lid fit so well that we couldn't take it off. I mean it holds up really well but it doesn't have ledges or handles or anything to grab the pan and remove the lid. When we took it off, the entire inside of the lid was covered in buttercream frosting that used to be on cupcakes. I really like this pan, it cooks evenly and the muffins (and muffins, I used it after a big initial smash, I just don't use the lid) come out great and it's easy enough to clean. So we're trying to figure out how to use the lid without turning it into a cupcake/cupcake safe that protects little hands, critters, and even adults who eventually seem to be the ones who lose their cool in the process of not opening and doing Do your best to break into a cupcake/muffin safe, obviously leave a note that someone was there (you can't open it without disturbing the contents), and then tell your significant other they "didn't able to see". anythingโ€, with chocolate icing on her cheeks and fingers. In any case, it's a great baking dish. Selling for $20.89 (a frying pan with a lid at the time of review) is a great buy for such a well made frying pan. Good buy.
