K5-ll with shutter/mirror problem

I'm torn on how to rate this camera. I really liked the K-5ll and the pictures it takes. Before purchasing the K-5ll in 2013, I owned and used the K7 and K5 extensively and take care of my camera or cameras and lenses like my kids do. During a photo shoot with a young child, the shutter/mirror box began to fail seriously without warning. I would like to report back here when the problem is fixed. When traveling overseas with my K5 in 2012, I had an issue with the shutter motor that caused the camera to stop performing all of its "photography" functions. The trigger didn't move. And I've learned a lot about the inconveniences of repair and how we, as consumers, sometimes find ourselves on the short end of the stick if we don't persevere. you focus quickly, then you hear the shutter button, clicks, jingles, then the mechanism gets stuck inside so that the viewfinder gets blocked, sometimes gets stuck and won't let go, then almost always, after several attempts to work with this situation, it goes in a horrible repetitive mirror flutter across or crazy movement of dashes. This is the most unexpected and almost scary sound you will hear from a camera. Since it happened as the weekend evening approached, I couldn't get an answer from any of the 'real renovation' people. I am very curious if anyone else had this problem. Although I've constantly bragged about Pentax cameras in the past and have convinced many of my amateur friends (who want to get into a more serious camera) to buy a K5 or K7 over the last 3-5 years, I feel a certain responsibility. Report this issue so others know. Perhaps buying an extra warranty would serve us well, but for me it was just past the 2 year mark. I would happily give it 5 stars for the images and other features but the mirror/shutter issue that is now happening on both the K5 and K5 ll means I have to be careful in my recommendations. I'm not a professional photographer looking at thousands of photos every month so 2 years wear and tear? Most likely, problems will arise sooner for those who shoot really often.
