Dude, I read the reviews that said they were hard to insert and I was like "how hard is that?" HARD. The balls are internally threaded and are little slippery bastards. I kept dropping them and lost two. Some pearls are very difficult to remove from earrings. I bought these for a double frontal helix piercing and when I screwed on the suction cups my piercing bled. Nobody could help me either. I love them now that I've had them for a few months. I am sensitive to nickel and had no reaction. The posts are of good length. I had to re-tighten the eggs after the first few days, but haven't since. However, make sure you REALLY like the color you added, as you don't want to change it.
