Product basically works as advertised but there are some issues. First, both washers that came with it failed. This defeats the purpose as it means that the connection between the valve and the pipe is leaking. So you may have a major leak and this device is the cause, not the solution. When you buy, offer to invest in some new washing machines. Second, the product packaging specifically states that the product is not suitable for online purchase. (See photo). So if you buy online and the item doesn't work (perhaps because of a bad washing machine!), you're out of luck with your warranty. Another problem is that this product has no internet connection. A competitor product does, but I chose this one because I could add additional sensors as I wanted sensors under both the washer and dryer (the dryer has a steam function so it also has a waterline). But the sensors seem to be very sensitive, so make sure you place the panel in an easily accessible spot so you can turn off false alarms.
