It's better to describe as Crease Resistant but definitely not Crease Resistant. However, in my hot and humid climate, it is very comfortable to wear. So if you're looking for a comfortable shirt that's just the right size, this is the one for you. If it absolutely MUST BE FREE, you can hesitate.
