I bought this camera about a year ago for a property I needed to look at. Visually, the device makes a good impression. Inserting an SD card is quite a hassle, as is the duct running through the bracket that houses the solar cable. The biggest problem is the app that controls the camera and is essential for everything. absolute GARBAGE and seems to have no practical use other than collecting personal data. The QR code on the booklet doesn't work, the QR code on the box clearly points to a Chinese website/app. Searching for an application by name in the Play Store does not work. Searching by manufacturer yields a semi-functional app that requires WAY too much personal information and still doesn't work. The camera also refused to communicate visually or audibly when manually entering information. I also couldn't get my existing app to work for other cameras (quite the opposite, I know). Third-party apps recommended on the internet also failed. I've spent hours on this and nothing has worked. I hooked up all the other cameras from many different manufacturers and they were up and running in minutes. Due to my own mistake of not installing this camera during the return window I'm stuck with this useless thing. I would recommend looking elsewhere. for outdoor camera.
