Review on πŸ‘“ Sightline Cory Grey to Crystal Fade Multifocus Reading Glasses: Enhance your Reading Experience! by Victoria Snyder

Revainrating 5 out of 5

excellent neutral color, excellent progressive effects

I'm a fan of progressive readers. Ever since I needed reading glasses I hate not being able to do anything with them because I can't see when I look up from what I'm reading. I hate putting them on and taking them off and having a million pairs everywhere because I take them off and don't remember where I put them. These Sightline progressive readers are very good and well worth the price. This particular pair comes in such a lovely neutral grey. They work great with natural highlights (which have been growing since I stopped dying my hair) and they're not as bright and fun as the purple ones I have too. I got them in version 3.0, which is higher than what I currently need for normal reading. I paint quality stones, so I figured higher magnification would be good for small details. The only problem is that since the lowest magnification (at the top of the lenses) is 1.5, they are more difficult to use for anything else. I should read there regularly. So my experiment in buying more magnification wasn't a complete success, but I know my eyes will eventually need 3.0 for reading, so I'll be happy to get it later. My only complaint (which is actually more of a wish) is that they came with a better case. If you've ever tried regular Peepers brand readers, you know that they come in a heavier case, making them easier to fit in your purse. They come with just a pretty tote bag that offers little protection other than dust. Overall I love this progressive reader and this brand and would recommend it to anyone who asks.

Pros
  • Patented progressive lens with anti-reflective (AR) coating. SightLine multifocal lenses offer the right magnification for close-up tasks. Sightline lenses are not like others available online. Many customers prefer Sightline to progressive lenses purchased from their optician because the Sightline design is easier to adjust.
Cons
  • Some errors
