Item arrived well packaged. I've never used Aqueon, I've always turned to Prime, but the breeder I got my last fish from highly recommended using it for conditioning as it's less stressful and better for their mucous membranes. In a bike tank there is no need to use Prime which dechlorinates and binds ammonia unlike Aqueon which is just a dechlorinator. Still, it's nice to have both on hand if there's ever a surge, but for now saving Prime for a last resort, I'm very impressed with this conditioner. You might think this stuff looks sketchy. There are a lot of reviews here, but to be honest, it's absolutely 100% totally safe. Take this from a very serious aquarium enthusiast who has put a lot of time, money and research into this hobby. I regularly speak to experts on this matter. The breeder who recommended this is an absolute fishing genius and it shows in his beautiful fish. As long as you have a properly maintained tank and don't add other harmful chemicals to your tank, your fish will be very happy with this water conditioner. My Golds love their water changes and they love it even more with this one. Swims happily, calmly, eats well. No disruptive behavior. No bursts of parameters. Foaming ingredients are added to enhance their mucosal lining. Similar to an anti-stress coat and you can even mix it with aloe vera. Your air stones should shake and mix it fairly well, but you can also stir it up with your hands. Got it, so pay attention (turn that filter off for a while until it dissipates). As with anything, make sure the bottle or packaging isn't damaged or cracked and that the expiration date is good. Definitely recommend!
