Just received for my birthday. I tried 4 similar products and expected another inappropriate, choppy, bulky group. With all the sweat and wear, others lasted 6 months max. This is a quality product that I expect will last longer than my phone. It fits my arm perfectly and hugs it so I don't move. It fits the phone perfectly and is raised so it doesn't put any pressure on my hand when I tighten the strap. The velcro seems durable and will last several hundred shots. Other straps had worn out after a month. I just need to see if they repel water well on rainy winter days. Very happy with the gift. ***************** So I ran about 26 miles with an armband and what I suspected turned out to be true. Unfortunately, the sweat and moisture from my hand creates a very wet environment in the bandage. It feels like some condensation has formed in the bag. When I take out the phone, the plastic window sticks to the phone, making it difficult to remove, and most importantly, the surface of the phone is wet. My problem is that if the phone malfunctions the warranty may not be accepted as there seems to be a strip inside the phone that indicates if the phone has been exposed to moisture. This happened to my old phone which was never submerged in water but was left on the bathroom countertop while I showered. If they were in some kind of waterproof barrier behind the bag that would probably solve the problem. And so I like the fit and it never shifts during the run. My problem is that high humidity can damage the phone and affect its functionality. Upgrade from 5 stars to 2 stars to avoid the risk of damaging the phone.
