Hooks are snapping for the holidays!

We used to hang detachable hooks for Christmas lights. You need to pick a day dry enough to hang them, make sure they stick, and then keep an eye on the light because almost every night (despite all that preparation) one of the hooks falls off and several feet of light with it - give your home a downcast look. The stairs spent most of the holiday season in front of the garage. And then at the end of the holidays we remove the hooks, carefully place them under a pad and look forward to the whole ballet next year. With more preparation, this is a much better solution. These hooks are larger than the cup hooks I planned to use - 2.2" with a 3/4" loop and a 1/2" hole - and they have a clip in the front for your fairy lights to rest in can wind. The manufacturer claims a 40-pound load rating, so you can stand the rig up if you like, and it's iron-clad with anti-corrosion paint. from you. You must first drill a hole with a 1/8" drill bit, insert the included plastic tray into the hole (if you are not drilling in wood) and then mount the hook. But it's a one-time setup compared to years of stair dancing with detachable hooks. We received a pack of 24 hooks and tubes and are now looking forward to the holidays rather than arguing about whether to take care of the lights this year.
