I bought this book because of the good reviews others had given me and am very pleased. That's all they admired and more. A color wheel was mentioned. While researching this (in the plastic pouch at the end of the book) I was surprised to find several templates with instructions on various aspects of color matching. Yes, you can make them yourself, but I can't remember the last time I used wax/crayons for this. Not only does he illustrate (with large illustrations) some of the basics of beadwork. and beads, he offers many designs and ways to use these techniques. While I'm not sure I would create these specific suggestions, but their designs will certainly direct my creativity in my own direction. My budget is pretty well controlled at the moment and I don't invest in too many new books without seeing the eye, but I'm very glad I invested in this one. This is a valuable addition to my library.
