Time will tell how well this softbox will hold up, but for the price and performance I'm happy with it. Just received and installed today. Unfolding was easy, but folding back took some practice. Basically you have to unscrew it when you fold it back. It feels like you're damaging the supports inside, but it's very similar to taking apart reflectors (but more twisted). I chose not to use a small internal diffuser (to mitigate any "hot spots") as I need all the light I can get from my flash. A diffuser isn't really needed as an external, larger diffuser works well. I get the f/8 setting at ISO 100 from about 5 feet away. This works well for external fill flash. This softbox is a great deal. I'll let you know in the future if I run into any issues with it.
