They're really pretty, the fabric and sole are shiny which makes them more appealing if you want to wear them outside of training (we always get compliments at the park during our training, and also when carrying more lounging/running errands). I like that they are flat (no extra heel lift which is great for squats) and have a cushion for plus size hikers like me. I also like that the back of the shoe doesn't hit the back of the Achilles tendon (a common problem since I have lipedema). I had a great chat with a Brooks rep asking what shoes are best for a hiker who also does CrossFit and they were Revel. But when I bought a pair from Brooks they only had A's and didn't like any of the color combos; came to Revain and they were lovely. I have the same shoes in lilac which are also very pretty and go with many outfits.
