At first I was a bit suspicious because of the design where one end of the strap is not continuous. I was concerned that this design might make them prone to flex or break. But no problems are observed. A different material is used on each top end of the hanger to increase resistance to slipping off the garment. I wasn't sure if it was a trick. While everything seems to be working fine, nothing flies. The plastic used is of sufficient quality and I don't think they will fail under normal use, in household clothes or light street wear. That said, I don't think they're capable of holding a full-length pea jacket. They match my regular home clothes and much more in my closet and I am happy with this choice. five stars.
