A great idea. In theory.

I want to post a photo of a happy baby with a happy family, but unfortunately it doesn't work. A few of our friends have a swing/jumper and are amazed at how much fun it has brought them. Now that they have free time, they can take care of the children's things or even take a shower; Brush teeth; Eat one of the 101 other things that are forgotten if the child is busy at the time. Although the swing consists of several parts, I was sure that it would be easy to put together. Parts have been clearly identified and individually wrapped to avoid confusion as to which part goes where. The instructions, while brief, were enough to guide the production process. In addition, the site had a video for those who need to watch and read it to fully understand it. I posted everything. I double checked each item against the inventory sheet and read the instructions to see where each item went before starting. I knew right away that I would need a barrier between adjacent bars to prevent rattling on each impact. No problem, I had medical tape. Thin enough to fit into the room at the point of insertion and to absorb any metal-on-metal clinking noise if the fit isn't tight enough. Since precision was not a manufacturer's priority, each hole or rod was a different size. As a result, I didn't have the luxury of calculating the amount of tape needed to achieve the desired fit before repeating the process for the remaining bars. Eight poles had to be wrapped and insulated. Each pole required a different amount. Good, because the swing/jump gives me more time with my hands free when they're ready. Eight rods - for the foot section - eight insertion points and eight combinations of bolts, washers and nuts to attach the rods. After two hours, insertion point five, the included tools no longer work. The cruciform protrusion on the Phillips screwdriver/Allen key combination was worn and was turning in the screw. The disposable key is too deformed to be effective. But I have the tools. Yes, I didn't use my tools initially because I didn't want to follow them to the other side of the house. So I pretended the cheap tools in the kit would do. You are not. Using my tools has doubled my productivity. time was wasted. I have completed the project. Everything was closed. Everything was safe. All it took was an adorable baby? Of course, I marveled at how the child's fingers "barely touched the ground" when the bottom of the sweater was at hip level. By pushing the spring, I hoped the child's weight would eliminate the "too high" position. In search of a jumper adjustment, I read the manual 3 times, then watched the video to see what I was missing. I DID NOT MISS ANYTHING. The video showed a 12-16 inch chain that was not included in the box or inventory list. There was no chain to "quicklyโ€ and "easilyโ€ adjust the height of the jumper. Angry, I called Revain customer service who told me they would refund MY money if I disassembled, packaged and returned the product. Truth? Who pays me for my time, Revane? We ended up leaving a useless jumper/swing and Revane made up for my time. Yes, I could buy a chain and make it work, but that's for a kid. There is no chain that I would like to buy. I am concerned about the possibility of injury. Speaking of injuries. Please think twice before purchasing this item for your child. Perhaps the missing chain is an accident. However, the extra effort required to make this element work is not worth the price and raises security concerns.
