No complaints. I use a fan at an outdoor shooting range. After I'm done shooting, I usually have to wait 20-30 minutes for the rifle's barrel to cool enough for me to put it in the case. Placing the fan near the magazine cuts the waiting time by about half. I also use a fan when shooting towards me, it helps make those hot summer days more bearable. There is a device called a "chamber cooler" that cools your barrel, but it costs a little over $40 and is for guns only.
