I didn't have any expectations from them because I've never painted a lot of fabrics. I bought some plain white terry cloth bibs for my 4 month old teething baby and thought my 4 and 5 year olds would be interested in designing some bibs. Well, these markers are NOT meant for terry or other textured fabrics. It was slow and frustrating to even make marks on fabric, let alone create recognizable images. My kids had a good attitude about it, but I was annoyed. Also all those ridiculous instructions about drying for 24 hours, washing your hands in cold water and ironing from the back before use? You play with me. Come on. I waited 24 hours before throwing them in cold water. The markings barely came through. The design came out faded and disappointing. To be honest, for the $11 or $12 I spent on these markers, I expected them to last at least one wash. I have my kids create white t-shirts for themselves using only felt tip pens and they are still bright and sharp. I am definitely disappointed with this product.
